O youtuber Felipe Neto, que tem 5,7 milhões de seguidores em seu canal no Youtube, desafiou o deputado federal Marco Feliciano (PSC-SP), e os dois tiveram um embate cara a cara sobre homossexualidade. O vídeo com o debate foi publicado hoje por Neto.
Antes de começar a fazer perguntas ao parlamentar, Neto pediu desculpas a Feliciano por causa da "explosão que eu dei no Twitter". "Foi algo que eu recrimino. Não teria por que, por discordar de você, te atacar pessoalmente ao invés de atacar suas ideias ou questionar suas ideias", falou. Em resposta ao pedido de perdão do youtuber, o deputado afirmou: "Eu, como pastor, já te perdoei lá atrás. Já orei por você".
No mês passado, Neto e Feliciano discutiram por meio do microblog sobre o atentado que matou 50 pessoas na boate gay Pulse, uma das principais de Orlando (EUA). A troca de farpas foi justamente por causa da relação afetiva e sexual entre pessoas do mesmo sexo. Feliciano chegou a dizer achar "triste a tentativa de grupos LGBT de usar a tragédia para se promover".
Em um determinado momento da discussão, Neto escreveu que não iria debater com Feliciano pelo Twitter. "Quer debater? Nomeie dia e hora e eu vou com minha equipe pra gravar", disse. O deputado, que é pré-candidato à Prefeitura de São Paulo, aceitou o desafio.

Questionado por Neto sobre a união civil entre pessoas do mesmo sexo, Feliciano citou o artigo 226 da Constituição Federal para justificar seu posicionamento contrário ao casamento gay.
"A Constituição Federal é clara. O constituinte de 1988 entendeu que família era homem e mulher. Os tempos mudaram? Mudaram; não tem nenhum medieval aqui. Mas não adianta os tempos mudarem, e a Constituição não mudar. A Constituição tem que ser refeita nesse quesito", declarou.
O youtuber perguntou se ele gostaria que "a Constituição permitisse que duas pessoas do mesmo sexo se casassem". Neto afirmou que é a favor.
"Se duas pessoas moram juntas, é de foro íntimo delas. Transformar isso em casamento é ter um problema jurídico muito grande. A Constituição, em seu artigo 226, diz 'para efeito da proteção do Estado'. Aqui está o problema: a Constituição não vem para proteger a família, mas para proteger a existência do Estado", respondeu.
Os dois debateram também sobre as raras citações que existem na Bíblia à homossexualidade, sobre pecado e beijo gay. Feliciano lembrou que promoveu boicote a um dos principais anunciantes da novela "Babilônia", exibida no ano passado pela TV Globo, que mostrou um beijo entre as personagens das atrizes Fernanda Montenegro e Nathalia Timberg.

A partir dos 14 minutos, Felipe Neto cita as igrejas inclusivas e questiona Feliciano sobre as citações bíblicas à homossexualidade no Novo Testamento. Ele argumenta que Jesus Cristo não falou sobre o tema em suas pregações. Feliciano respondeu que Cristo não falou sobre isso porque nunca perguntaram.
