Jason, de 24 anos, tomou um susto quando o seu parceiro o acordou às 7h para dizer que estava "grávido".

Ele esfregou os olhos e viu Paul agitando um teste de gravidez no ar.

"Você vai ser papai", disse Paul, legalmente reconhecido como do sexo masculino.

Paul nasceu mulher, mas se tornou homem após terapia hormonal. Entretanto ele não perdeu a capacidade de engravidar.

"Quando ele me acordou àquela manhã foi um grande choque. Fiquei em pânico e com medo. Pensei que crianças fossem algo para um futuro mais distante, não seis meses após nos conhecermos", contou Jason, segundo reportagem do "Sun".

Jason e Paul se conheceram em um pub. Até o segundo encontro, Jason não sabia que Paul havia nascido mulher.

A filha de Paul e Jason nasceu ano passado. Mas com o nascimento, a relação chegou ao fim.

"O fato de Paul não estar recebendo testosterona durante a gravidez fez com que ele se tornasse cada vez mais uma mulher. Os seios cresceram, ele ficou inchado e até começou a ter um cheiro diferente", contou Jason.

Era o fim da linha para os dois. Jason, entretanto, diz ser um orgulhoso pai. Ele não deixa de visitar a filha.
