O brasileiro Rodrigo Lopes virou destaque no Big Brother inglês, ao formar com Charlie Drummond o primeiro casal gay do programa, em 2009. Agora, com 26 anos, o ex-BBB decidiu começar uma nova vida, e aceitar sua identidade de gênero como mulher - Rebekah. E planeja fazer a operação de readequação sexual em breve.

Em entrevista à revista “Heat”, Rebekah admitiu que sempre se sentiu como uma mulher. Ela sempre gostou de se maquear e fazer tratamentos de beleza. Mas só criou coragem depois de uma conversa com a melhor amiga.

"Eu comecei a vestir as roupas das minhas amigas. Depois, eu passei a comprar as minhas. As pessoas nas lojas ficavam surpresas. Mas agora eu já saio de casa travestido e acabei fazendo muitas amizades".

Rebekah contou que chegou a conversar com um médico, sobre a decisão dela. E diz que ainda está preocupada com a reação dos pais, no Brasil.

"Não sei se eles me aceitariam. É difícil para mim. Não é uma decisão fácil, ou uma brincadeira".

A ex-brother vai começar o procedimento para readequação sexual tomando hormônios primeiro. O processo deve demorar um ano e só então ele poderá fazer a cirurgia definitiva.

"Eu nem sei se sou gay, lésbica ou hétero. Mas Rebekah é hétero e gosta de héteros" explicou ela.

Ela disse ainda que Rebekah é uma mulher moderna, mas nunca iria para a cama com alguém no primeiro encontro. Ela tem um temperamento curto e é muito mais louca do que era antes.

"O que me faz gostar ainda mais disso é a atenção que Rebekah recebe. As pessoas realmente gostam dela. Eu não sei se essa cirurgia vai fazer tanta diferença. Eu já não sou muito masculino" concluiu.

"I do not know if I'm gay, lesbian or straight. But Rebekah is straight and likes to straight" she explained.

She said Rebekah is a modern woman, but never go to bed with someone on a first date. She has a short temper and is much more crazy than it was before.

"What makes me love it even more attention is given to Rebekah. People really like it. I do not know if this surgery will make much difference. I am no longer very masculine" he concluded.
