O corpo de uma travesti foi encontrado com ferimentos na cabeça na tarde desta sexta-feira (24), no bairro São Matheus, periferia de Várzea Grande, região metropolitana de Cuiabá. Segundo informações repassadas pela Delegacia de Homicídios e Proteção à Pessoa (DHPP), a vítima deve ter sido espancada e morta a pedradas.

A travesti não portava documentos pessoais e, segundo a Polícia Civil, encontrava-se completamente despida em um matagal localizado em uma região de difícil acesso. “As primeiras impressões do crime revelam que a vítima foi assassinada no local. Os investigadores estão inicialmente buscando a identificação da vítima”, afirmou a delegada Sílvia Maria Pauluzi.

Ainda conforme a polícia, a vítima era jovem e tinha duas tatuagens no corpo, uma nas costas e outra no braço. A travesti, disse a delegada, pode ter combinado um programa na região onde foi espancada até a morte. A polícia vai começar a fazer diligências para iniciar as buscas ao suspeito de cometer o crime.
