Após a repressão policial ao final da Parada do Orgulho LGBT de Campinas, que aconteceu no último domingo, dia 26 junho (veja vídeo abaixo), os organizadores estão convocando um novo evento para dia 28 de agosto.

De acordo com os organizadores, a manifestação é uma forma de lutar contra o preconceito, a discriminação e a opressão pela força militar do governo. “Nos reuniremos em prol dos Direitos Humanos como um todo, por sermos cidadãos e, independentemente do gênero e orientação sexuais, sofremos com a opressão em todo o Brasil”, anotam. Eles prometem fazer novas manifestações se houver repressão policial.

A prefeitura de Campinas, comandada por Jonas Donizette (PSB) não apoio a manifestação. A repressão começou pouco tempo após o fim da passeata, mas houve várias denúncias de ações violentas da Polícia durante a passeata, mas ao final, a PM lançou bombas de efeito moral e gás lacrimogênio. Em nota, a organização criticou a ação violenta da PM. Em nota oficial, a organização do evento repudiou a ação da PM. A XVI Parada do Orgulho LGBT de Campinas ocorreu neste domingo e apesar da falta de apoio material por parte da Prefeitura Municipal de Campinas, nossa manifestação teve grande êxito e reuniu milhares de pessoas pelas ruas da cidade, celebrando a diversidade, repudiando a intolerância e exigindo nossos direitos.

Embora durante a manifestação não tenhamos recebido nenhuma informação sobre ocorrências policiais, diversos de nossos dirigentes receberam denúncias de que a Polícia Militar do Estado de SP teria agido de maneira violenta e truculenta contra dezenas de pessoas que depois do encerramento da Parada encontravam-se na Praça Bento Quirino dançando e se divertindo, de maneira totalmente pacífica. Um de nossos dirigentes, que é também advogado e militante de direitos humanos, dirigiu-se ao local e tomou alguns depoimentos de algumas testemunhas de tais ações violentas.

Manifestamos nosso mais veemente repúdio a qualquer ação de violência por parte da Polícia Militar do Estado de SP e exigiremos a rigorosa apuração de todas as denúncias. É inadmissível que pessoas que encontravam-se simplesmente numa praça se divertindo sofram uma ação dessa natureza.

Além de repudiar esssa violência, a Associação da Parada do Orgulho LGBT de Campinas solidariza-se com as vítimas da truculência policial e se coloca à disposição para ajudar no encaminhamento das denúncias.

As pessoas que sofreram violências por parte da PM ou que testemunharam tais violências podem entrar em contato com a Associação através do celular (19) 9-9339-4111, para que organizemos a coleta de todos os relatos.

E nesta terça-feira, 28/06/2016, Dia Mundial e Municipal do Orgulho LGBT, estaremos reunidos para iniciarmos o processo de avaliação da Parada de 2016 e a preparação para a Parada de 2017. Convidamos às pessoas que sofreram violências por parte da PM ou que testemunharam tais violências a comparecer, pois a primeira parte de nossa reunião será dedicada a receber tais relatos. A reunião acontecerá dia 28/06/2016, às 19h00, na Subsede Campinas da APEOESP, na Rua Barreto Leme, nº. 920, Centro, Campinas.

As denúncias que recebermos serão encaminhadas ao Centro de Referência LGBT de Campinas, à Ouvidoria da Polícia do Estado de SP, ao Conselho de Defesa dos Direitos da Pessoa Humana de SP (CONDEPE) e ao Ministério Público do Estado de SP.

Nada nos fará voltar ao armário! Não à transfobia, à lesbofobia, à homofobia, ao machismo e ao racismo! Pelo fim da violência policial!

In addition to repudiating esssa violence, the Association of Campinas LGBT Pride Parade sympathizes with the victims of police brutality and make themselves available to help in addressing the complaints.

And this Tuesday, 28/06/2016, World Day and Municipal LGBT Pride, we gathered to begin the evaluation process of the 2016 Parade and preparation for 2017. Stop invite people who have suffered violence by the PM or witnessed such violence to appear as the first part of our meeting will be dedicated to receive such reports. The meeting will take place on 06.28.2016 at 19.00 in Campinas subsede of APEOESP in Barreto Leme Street, no. 920, Centro, Campinas.

The complaints we receive will be forwarded to LGBT Reference Center of Campinas, the Ombudsman of the State of SP Police, the Defense Council of Human Rights of the Person of SP (CONDEPE) and the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo.
