Um casal foi agredido em um bar na noite desta sexta-feira (24), em São Paulo. Eles acreditam que tenham sido vítimas de homofobia. A agressão ocorreu por volta das 21h na Rua Jerônimo da Veiga, no Itaim Bibi, na Zona Oeste da cidade.

“Estávamos conversando, entre amigos, quando uma pessoa veio e gratuitamente nos agrediu porque éramos um casal e por sermos um casal. Começou a falar palavras pejorativas para gente, deu um soco e começou a querer nos agredir mais”, afirma um dos rapazes.

Ele ainda afirma que teve dificuldade para registrar o caso como homofobia na delegacia. “O que houve foi uma tentativa de nos coibir, de tentar intimidar como nós deveríamos agir hoje”, alega.

No boletim de ocorrência, o caso foi registrado como injúria e lesão corporal consumada. O agressor também prestou depoimento e, segundo o que consta no registro, negou que tenha sido um caso de homofobia. Disse que a briga foi provocada pelo uso do karaokê.

Esse foi o segundo caso de violência envolvendo casais do mesmo sexo em duas semanas na capital. No dia 11, dois rapazes foram agredidos por um segurança do centro de tradições nordestinas, na zona norte, durante um show da cantora Ivete Sangalo. Testemunhas contam que policiais militares estavam perto e não fizeram nada. O caso está sendo investigado pela polícia civil e pela corregedoria da polícia militar.

A vítima da agressão no bar no Itaim diz que espera que o caso seja investigado como homofobia. “Eu espero que essas pessoas, como essa pessoa teve essa atitude, seja punida por isso."

A polícia Civil informou que, ao ouvir todos os envolvidos, o delegado do 14° Distrito policial, em Pinheiros, entendeu que a ocorrência foi um desentendimento que levou à agressão. A polícia diz ainda que foi requisitado exame de corpo de delito para a vítima, e que o caso foi encaminhado ao juizado especial criminal.

This was the second case of violence involving same-sex couples in two weeks in the capital. On the 11th, two boys were beaten by a security guard from the center of northeastern traditions in the north, during a concert of the singer Ivete Sangalo. Witnesses say that police officers stood by and did nothing. The case is being investigated by the civil police and the internal affairs of the military police.
