A cantora Lady Gaga uniu-se a milhares de pessoas em frente ao Los Angeles' City Hall, na noite desta segunda-feira (13), para uma vigília em homenagem às vítimas do atentado na boate Pulse, em Orlando, Flórida, nos EUA.

Lady Gaga se emocionou durante seu discurso em apoio à comunidade LGBT. "Nós lamentamos a trágica perda dessas pessoas inocentes e bonitas. Vamos todos hoje prometer uma fidelidade de amor a eles e a suas famílias que estão sofrendo profundamente. Eles são filhos e filhas. Eles eram pais e mães. Eles são todos nossos irmãos e nossas irmãs", disse.

"Espero que vocês saibam que eu e tantos são os seus aliados. Não só eu, mas todos aqui. Nós representamos a compaixão e a lealdade de milhões de pessoas ao redor do mundo que acreditam em vocês. Você não estão sozinhos, você não estão sozinhos."

Na madrugada do último domingo (12), Omar Mateen abriu fogo contra o público da boate Pulse, matando ao menos 50 pessoas, no pior ataque a tiros da história dos EUA.
