A britânica Jackie Green, de 18 anos, se tornou a primeira transexual a chegar às semifinais do concurso Miss Inglaterra, após vencer como Miss Popularidade, com os votos do público.

"Quero chamar a atenção para o fato de que as pessoas transgênero são normais e de que temos os mesmos direitos que os demais", disse Jackie, em sua inscrição para o concurso.
