Personalidades do mundo artístico e da política prestigiaram o lançamento da campanha pelo “Casamento Civil Igualitário” na quinta-feira (12) à noite na casa noturna Galeria Café, em Ipanema, zona sul do Rio de Janeiro. Com o slogan “Os mesmos direitos com os mesmos nomes”, foi idealizada pelo deputado federal Jean Wyllys (PSOL-RJ). Usando principalmente a ferramenta da internet, a campanha pretende mobilizar a sociedade para a aprovação da Proposta de Emenda Constitucional (PEC) que estende a casais do mesmo sexo o direito ao casamento.

“São cerca de 70 direitos que são negados aos homossexuais. Somos tratados como cidadãos de segunda categoria. A maioria desses direitos negados são relacionados à família. O casamento civil é uma grande pauta positiva que acaba enfrentando a homofobia. Se a gente for reconhecido como família, o direito à adoção será reconhecido automaticamente”, afirmou o deputado.

Durante o evento, foram apresentados os vídeos oficiais, que contam com vários artistas, dentre eles as atrizes Arlete Sales e Mariana Ximenes, o cantor e compositor Ivan Lins, a cantora Wanessa Camargo, o rapper MV Bill e o cantor Ney Matogrosso. Segundo Jean Wyllys, posteriormente internautas serão convidados a postar vídeos a favor da causa.
“A ideia é mobilizar o país inteiro em torno do casamento igualitário. Ir contra um discurso que foi produzido durante anos que confundia casamento civil com casamento religioso, um meio de negar esse direito aos homossexuais. Dessa forma, esperamos que a sociedade civil abrace a nossa luta”, declarou.

No discurso, o deputado lamentou a morte do casal homossexual encontrado com sinais de tortura em Alagoas no dia de ontem (12). Para Jean, atos como este são “frutos da violência homofóbica, expressão letal da forma como homossexuais são vilipendiados no Brasil” e devem ser combatidos com a garantia da igualdade de direitos independentemente da orientação sexual.

O coordenador da CEDS (Coordenadoria Especial da Diversidade Sexual) da prefeitura do Rio, estilista Carlos Tufvesson, defende a aprovação do casamento civil como um avanço à união civil aprovada pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal no ano passado. Tufvesson teve a conversão para casamento civil da união estável com o arquiteto André Piva negada pela Justiça.

“O casamento civil é o único dispositivo legal que assegura a um casal brasileiro a plenitude dos direitos de duas pessoas possuem. A união estável não dá a integralidade de direitos”, informou.

Ao todo, 103 deputados assinaram a proposta da PEC do Casamento Igualitário, no entanto, são necessárias 171 assinaturas para que a proposta seja levada à apresentação no Congresso.

“Existe uma bancada conservadora fundamentalista que tenta impedir os avanços. A nossa batalha é para construir um Estado laico pelo direito ao afeto e à vida”, concluiu.

“Nós temos que reafirmar que o Estado é laico. Em nome de Deus muita gente já foi assassinada na história da humanidade. Nós queremos a liberdade porque ela nos faz humanos, disse a co-autora da PEC, Erika Kokai (PT-DF).
A cantora e percussionista Lan Lan ressaltou que a aprovação do casamento civil entre pessoas do mesmo sexo garante ao casal maior estabilidade na construção de uma relação sob o mesmo teto.

“É garantir os mesmos direitos. Os mesmos benefícios. O direito ao plano de saúde da pessoa que trabalha. As famílias mudaram e a lei tem de acompanhar essas mudanças”, disse.

A cantora maranhense Rita Ribeiro defende a aprovação da PEC do Casamento Igualitário como forma de assegurar aos casais a constituição de uma família sob aspecto legal.

“É preciso respeitar o direito das pessoas. A garantia constitucional dá segurança aos casais homossexuais terem seus direitos garantidos, respeitados e a ser uma família como outra qualquer que existe na sociedade brasileira”, afirmou.

O apresentador e empresário Bruno Chateaubriand foi o mestre de cerimônias do evento ao lado do companheiro André Ramos. Juntos há 14 anos, o casal tem a expectativa da aprovação da lei para poder legalizar a união.

“A luta é muito difícil. Juízes não estão respeitando a hierarquia do Judiciário. O Supremo Tribunal Federal não está sendo respeitado. É uma tristeza porque se esbarra em juiz que diz que é religioso e não aceita a união. Eu e o André não conseguimos legalizar da maneira como a gente gostaria”, disse Bruno Chateaubriand.

Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte, Cauã Raymond, Sônia Braga e Bebel Gilberto são alguns dos artistas que assinaram declaração pública de apoio à PEC. Gravaram também apoio, em vídeo ainda a ser divulgado, as cantoras Ana Carolina e Fafá de Belém e o ator Wagner Moura.
