O vídeo de divulgação do candidato Fred Karger com um beijo gay ficou indisponível no YouTube com a indicação de "conteúdo inapropriado"O vídeo tinha sido apresentado ontem pelo candidato que concorre contra mais três republicanos.

Até ontem, 25, continuava indisponível com indicação "Este vídeo foi removido porque o seu conteúdo violava os Termos de Utilização do YouTube. Pedimos desculpa.".

Quem não aceita os pedidos de desculpa é Fred Karger que emitiu uma nota oficial sobre o assunto, e que o vídeo em poucas horas tinha conseguido mais de 15000 visualizações.

O candidato questiona o YouTube sobre o que há de inapropriado no vídeo. "Foi filmado em Venice Beach no sul da Califórnia com uma dúzia de homens e mulheres se divertindo na praia. Termina com os meus amigos André e Michael (que estão juntos há 7 anos) trocando um beijo rápido. É aquele beijo que YouTube considera inapropriado? Há beijos gays na televisão todos os dias e, certamente, muitos no YouTube e outros sites populares de compartilhamento de vídeos" diz Karger.

Karger também diz que irá tomar medidas para que o vídeo seja novamente disponibilizado, ele irá escrever para os fundadores do Google (que é proprietário do YouTube) e pedir explicações sobre porque o YouTube "decidiu censurar o meu livre discursos como candidato a Presidente dos Estados Unidos da América".

Hoje, 26, o vídeo já estava de volta ao youtube, mas com um breve aviso no seu início: "Parental Advisory - Explicit Content".
