Valentijn of Hingh, Dutch transsexual model 26, sent a striking message this week to the whole world: being gay is a crime in 72 countries, and in many of them this can lead to imprisonment or death penalty. To combat prejudice and homophobia, the Dutch model Valentijn De Hingh used in the last 05 a dress made with the flags of the 72 countries where homosexuality is considered a crime. Created by designer Mattijs Van Bergen, the piece drew attention during the EuroPride, gay parade which promotes the visibility of LGBT struggles in Amsterdam. In his instagram, Valentijn said each country to change its legislation about it will have its flag replaced by a rainbow streamer, symbol of the LGBT community.
