Valentijn de Hingh, modelo transexual holandesa de 26 anos, mandou um recado impactante nesta semana para o mundo todo: ser gay é crime em 72 países, sendo que em diversos deles isso pode levar a prisão ou pena de morte. Para combater o preconceito e a homofobia, a modelo holandesa Valentijn De Hingh usou no último dia 05 um vestido feito com as bandeiras dos 72 países onde a homossexualidade é considerada crime. Criada pelo estilista Mattijs Van Bergen, a peça chamou a atenção durante o EuroPride, parada gay que promove a visibilidade das lutas LGBT, em Amsterdã. Em seu instagram, Valentijn afirmou que cada país que mudar sua legislação a respeito disso terá sua bandeira substituída por uma flâmula do arco-íris, símbolo da comunidade LGBT.
