A Polícia Civil do Estado de São Paulo investiga uma denúncia feita por um estudante de 22 anos que disse ter sido violentado sexualmente por oito universitários dentro do alojamento do câmpus I da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) em São Carlos, interior de São Paulo. O universitário do 1.º ano de licenciatura em ciências exatas A.L. procurou a polícia na noite de quarta-feira (13).
De acordo com o que A.L. afirmou no boletim de ocorrência no dia 4, após sair de uma assembleia acadêmica, voltava para o quarto, quando, ao passar pela entrada de um dos prédios do alojamento estudantil, foi atacado por um grupo de oito alunos que estavam numa festa. Ele declarou que foi puxado pelos braços para dentro de uma cozinha do alojamento, obrigado a ficar sem roupas e a fazer sexo oral com alguns dos integrantes do grupo.
Segundo a Polícia Civil, A.L. afirmou que conhece alguns deles e que pode reconhecê-los durante as apurações. O estudante também declarou que havia informado a coordenadoria do alojamento e o serviço social da universidade sobre o ataque. A USP, por meio de nota, informou que A.L. procurou o Serviço de Promoção Social da prefeitura do campus no dia 12 e que "todas as ações e procedimentos pertinentes foram realizados", respeitando-se o sigilo do caso.
No comunicado, a USP explica que abriu uma sindicância nesta quinta-feira (14) diante do registro do boletim de ocorrência e "da verificação de algumas incongruências dos relatos". A averiguação do foi encaminhada para o 3.º Distrito Policial (DP) da cidade e será investigado pelo delegado Aldo Donisete Del Santo. Nesta sexta-feira, pelo menos 25 universitários da USP foram até a delegacia sem serem intimados para dar depoimentos em defesa dos acusados. Conforme a polícia, a demora no registro da ocorrência e algumas divergências nos testemunhos precisam ser melhor apuradas, antes de qualquer medida contra os suspeitos.

In a statement, the USP explains that opened an inquest on Thursday (14) before the registration of the police report and "checking reports of inconsistencies." The investigation was referred to the 3. º Police District (DP) of the city and will be investigated by the delegate Donisete Aldo Del Santo. On Friday, at least 25 were university USP to the police station without being subpoenaed to give testimony in defense of the accused. According to police, the delay in recording the occurrence and some discrepancies in the testimonies need to be better cleared before any action against the suspects.
