Cantora concedeu entrevista para revista norte-americana e declarou lutar a favor dos direitos LGBT

Em entrevista para a revista americana The Advocate, voltada para o público LGBT, a diva do pop contemporâneo Lady Gaga nega que use a comunidade homossexual para vender seus Cds. Ela declarou que isso é algo ridículo.

Gaga apareceu na capa da revista de forma bastante comportada, diferente da forma como os fãs e o público em geral estão acostumados a ver a cantora.

Na entrevista ela ressaltou ainda que luta pela causa gay e defendeu a criação da lei que permite o casamento entre pessoas do mesmo sexo.

A cantora também fala sobre Madonna: "Não há drama, ciúme, competição. Eles estão felizes por ver outra mulher vencendo. Me sinto tão ligada a Madonna em tantas maneiras, me sinto ligada a Barbra (Streisand), e a Cher e Blondie e todas as mulheres que vieram antes de mim", disse à revista.
