Descontração, alegria e vaidade. Assim foi a 21ª Edição da Gaymada, realizado no Parque da Cidade sempre nos últimos domingo de cada mês, como parte dos Projetos do Portal Gay1em Brasília. O evento atraiu aproximadamente 500 jovens na tarde do dia 31, no Estacionamento do Kart.
O jogo acontece há 2 anos e tem como principal intuito promover a socialização do público. O que hoje é um esporte, antes era apenas uma brincadeira de amigos sem incentivo. “A prática desta recreação existe, mas os participantes reclamavam da falta de incentivo exclusivo para eles. Por isso, a proposta da GayMada, que cresce a cada ano com mais público, que adora participar e assistir o jogo”, afirma Hernanny Queiroz, um dos organizadores do evento.
A competição segue o regulamento normal da tradicional queimada. "O regulamento é o mesmo não muda. O atleta deve acertar o adversário, se conseguir, o adversário é 'queimado', ficando numa área atrás da equipe adversária podendo ajudar a eliminar o outro time. Vence a equipe que 'queimar' primeiro todos os adversários" diz Queiroz.
A recreação provoca muitas risadas, reunindo sempre familiares e amigos. “Gostei muito deste incentivo, principalmente, porque é um esporte que ajuda a sociedade a respeitar todos do jeito que são”, afirma a dona de casa, Ângela Souza, mãe de um dos jovens que jogava no momento.
Segundo o participante Roberto Dias, "a Gaymada é uma boa, a gente gosta, não queríamos futebol, não é para a gente. Uma pena a administração do Parque não apoia os LGBTs”.
