Homicide agents arrested yesterday morning, Monday (30), two men suspected of killing Marcelo Fortes Marins, 34, employee of a health care company in the West Zone of Rio
Marcelo was found dead at home on Jan. 14 in Barra da Tijuca. On the day of the crime, a neighbor saw the door open and found the body, which had his hands tied and had signs of beating. Many belongings were stolen from the apartment.
Milton Mathias de Andrade, 22, and Laudian Freitas Silva, Pele, 19, suspected of the murder, were presented on the morning of Tuesday, 31. The authors confessed the crime, saying they killed because they would have sex with the victim, and that it had refused to pay the $ 50 that each would receive the program. The killers searched the house, subtracting a laptop, sunglasses, $ 600 in cash and other belongings. The glasses were found at the home of Milton. The laptop was sold to a marketer Laudian Rio das Pedras shantytown, where he lives.
A third suspect was also arrested. With him were seized belongings that were stolen from the victim's home on the day of the crime.
At first the accused tried to justify this fact by saying that the victim had made contact by telephone with Milton, and asked him to take more than a friend to a party at your house. When they get home of the entrepreneur, the suspects would have been surprised by the behavior of the victim, which would have forced sexual contact. They have refused and then beat and Darama two blows on the victim.
The police arrived the suspects thanks to the testimony of three witnesses who saw Milton leaving the house of the businessman dead. The description helped investigators identify the suspect. Last week agents monitored the DH spot where Milton lived for three days. After arresting Milton, police were able to identify Laudian. The killers had no criminal record.
It was a barbaric crime - the police chief said Rivaldo Barbosa, owner of DH.
The day after the crime, Marcelo relatives testified. "My brother was a good person, he had a good financial position, helped many people, is psychologically, financially, but I think the person who did this is someone you know him, and he entered because I could not help, or tell no, he did this with malice, "said Erica Marins, the victim's sister.
"What I want most in life, because he did not deserve such a death, a coward, what they did with it was the greatest cowardice. Because that there is an angel who's here, folks," said Maria de Lourdes Strong emotional, Marcelo grandmother.
Already provide a comment where some rain will put the blame on the victim. Worse, many homosexuals will still claim that the businessman was ill and took a "risk behavior", washing the suspects to their home. That is, ultimately, the blame is always the victim. A total reversal of values and cruel.
What these people need to understand once and for all is that there is no justification for a brutal murder. The killers knew very well what it was, and if not wanted, or when dropped, it was enough to have gone.
