O parto do homem transexual Yuval Toppet Erez, um israelense que deu à luz a seu terceiro filho, faz parte de algumas das lindas imagens que circulam nas redes sociais. Depois da 4ª gravidez, ele finalmente decidiu registrar o nascimento e mostrar o poder da fotografia para capturar a essência de um momento tão puro e simbólico quanto o surgimento de uma vida.
Yuval já era um dos principais marcos dos direitos trans no mundo. Junto de seu marido Matan Topper-Erez, ele é pai da primeira criança a ter dois homens como pais na certidão de nascimento em Israel. A decisão de 2011 foi histórica no país do Oriente Médio e Yuval não fechou a fábrica desde então. As incríveis imagens desse nascimento emocionam qualquer um.
Hoje Yuval faz parte do Projeto pela Gravidez de Pessoas Trans, que busca incentivar e criar uma rede de segurança para pessoas trans e não binárias que desejam engravidar.
“Espero, entre outras coisas, que este álbum inspire futuros pais biológicos. Eu sei o quão significativas poderiam ter sido imagens como estas para mim antes da minha primeira gravidez e o quão significativo é para mim ver imagens de amigos em parto trans e não binárias até hoje”, desabafou Yuval.
