"O tempo não pára", diz Cazuza em uma poesia musicada que se transformou em uma espécie de hino à urgência de viver. A mensagem era: vamos fazer tudo o que for possível, mesmo que isso sirva apenas para constatarmos que o futuro repete o passado, em uma dança conhecida e cada vez mais frenética. Pense bem: não é o que fazemos todos? Eu, você, nossos amigos, vizinhos, colegas? Vivemos no mundo da velocidade, que é a face mais evidente da sociedade atual. Parece que o tempo sempre está escorrendo entre os dedos. A idéia predominante é de que o tempo não pára e que, como conseqüência, nós também não podemos parar. Chegamos a pensar que o ideal seria que nos antecipássemos ao tempo, sendo mais velozes que ele, como fez o deus grego Zeus, que se tornou o mais poderoso após destronar seu pai, Chronos, o deus do tempo.A velocidade é, então, o novo paradigma, o padrão de comportamento adotado por quem deseja ter sucesso, estar integrado, fazer parte do sistema, ser aceito pela sociedade, concorrer no mercado. Errado, tudo isso? Eu não teria coragem de afirmar que sim, pois os períodos da história têm suas marcas peculiares, mas... por favor, um pouco de calma, respire fundo: nada melhor do que um pouco de lucidez para não ser simplesmente sugado pelo sistema. Que tal entender bem o que se passa antes de entrar nesse jogo e simplesmente ser consumido, velozmente, sem mesmo se dar conta de que podemos agir no mundo de maneira diferente?
